We went back last night. We slapped the trash around almost as if they weren’t there. (Alright, maybe not quite that easily, but where we had 5, 6, 8 people die on any given pull on Monday night, 1 or 2 died. And we had a couple flawless pulls.)
We took three shots at Morogrim, and while we only got him to 50 percent on the first pull, we had some bad luck with the watery graves, a tank disconnecting. But it felt much better than when we took him down to 33 percent the night before. The second attempt got him to 15 percent, and failed because the MT had his Vent volume down too low to hear the RLs telling him to turn Tidewalker.
On the third attempt, the only thing that went wrong was me: I died, received a battle rez, then hit "release" instead of "accept." So I was just outside the portal when he went down, kicking and cussing myself for being such a n00b. But we did it: In only two nights, we brought down our first boss in SSC.
Tonight, we get to dance with Leo. I can’t wait!

Nice on that kill. My char is a 67 rogue and I have never done a raid. I am kind of intimidated by them cause I fear I would not know how to handle myself with that many people. I want to get to 70 asap so that I am able to join my guild on Kara runs. Hopefully that will be soon. Good luck on the other bosses and hopefully you can get some awesome loot.
Gz on your Morogrim kill! Leo will be a good bit harder, so good luck and enjoy it. Tip: don’t get mesmerised by his swords like I did and forget to move.
