Kestrel, on your Leo macro you should use your essence of the martyr instead of your earring. Using essence gives you more damage.

Thanks for the heads up on this awesome mod! It really is a life saver. Many times I get to a boss and forget to switch macros, and end up fumbling around with my macro menus at the beginning of the fight.

Looking at your Leo macro, I think I can make a couple suggestions which might help you.

Cast Inner Fire at the start of each Demon Phase if you’ve lost charges… at that point, the fire tank has no debuffs up, so they shouldn’t be taking much damage, and you can spare a GCD to get that off.

When the demon folds its wings (or you get the “Insidious Whisper” warning), cast PW:S on yourself, and Renew if you can. That way, if you get your demon, you’re already ready for it. PoM, too, if you have time. (Around the 30-second mark is when I start prepping for my demon).

If you don’t get a demon, eh, just heal the fire tank and anyone else who has a demon. Healers shouldn’t have to heal themselves during Inner Demon — full DPS on the demon! Other than that, I’d probably keep your macro about as it is:

/castsequence SW:P, Smite, Smite, Smite, Smite, SW:D
(assuming that your Smite hits for about about 2k, and SW:D hits for the same amount).

One thing to note is that the Inner demons are susceptible to Holy and Nature damage, and have extra resistance against fire and shadow — you may find that Smite hits for about as much as SW:D on average, without the danger of feedback.

You can check how much each hits for by going back into your old WWS reports and browsing the raw logs for Kestrel attacks Inner Demon.

Our healers had a lot of trouble staying alive during Inner Demon until we really enforced the “don’t heal yourself, just spam smite/wrath/lightning bolt” rule. Shorter cast times are better, because usually healers don’t have much push-back protection, and Holy Fire can get pushed back to 6 seconds or more…

@ Shastarian: Great question! And I’m sorry I didn’t make that clearer. IHML takes up one spot on your General macros tab; the rest of the macro info is stored in your Saved Variables file.

So instead of a slot for your Astral Flare macro and another for the Demon Chains, you have the single “intelligent” IHML macro, and you can safely remove the others.

And THAT is one of the coolest things about this add-on: More room for macros that won’t fit under the IHML umbrella!
