Some I really enjoyed (The Hitch Hiker's Guide is essentially a bible to me) and some were so godawful I wouldn't use them to line a bird cage (I'm looking at you, Lewis Carroll!) And I've noticed you've never read Dracula, Kes. Such a great story. And it's an interesting read too, particularly when you base the original version against the current vampire iterations that pop up on a near-yearly basis. And Ratsy? We'll have to politely agree to disagree. I still say that was one of the best new books I've read in a very long time. Oh - and the Harry Potter books are much better (richer) than the movies. Can't seem to get to like the movies while I loved the books. Strange, since I usually don't have a problem with taking movies at their face value.
